Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14 70 years ago) is a famous American singer, actress also a writer, director and actor. Her most recognizable role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Alongside that, she has directed, produced and performed in her own films Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. She also acted as Bride in Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was born January 8 1977. She was born in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. She has a younger sister Danielle, who is an artist. Benson's father was Jewish as was her mother was a Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. Her family was raised going to the Reform congregation in Alabama. Benson's career has continued to flourish following the ending of Buffy. She appeared in films like The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series. Her writing talents have been put to good use in Ghosts of Albion, and she was the director of Drones (2010). After taking the time identify and the Slayers, Buffy states that there around 1800 Slayers in the world, 500 of whom are involved with members of the Scooby Gang.
