Angela Sun is a journalist sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and television host. Angela Sun, a journalist and sportscaster, who has received accolades for her work on Santa Clara County California was born on 19 October 1979. She earned a bachelor's in sociology and communication from the University of California. Sun had excellent surfing skills. She was a participant in numerous Pro-Am Surf contests that helped her get sponsorships by companies like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. The recognition she got through this was a slingshot to propel her into the world of entertainment. Later she worked as an journalist, actress, sportscaster reporter, as well as film director. Sun has worked as a reporter for several news channels, primarily as an anchor. She was also a Fox Sports Net Correspondent. She has also hosted American Ninja Warrior alongside Matt Iseman and Jonny Moseley in the year 2012. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute in the year 2014. She's the first Asian American celebrity to be featured as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun's acting talents have brought her notoriety. She's appeared in films such as Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014- 2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun was the one who penned and produced her documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch about the ocean's plastic pollution and its environmental effects in 2014, released the feature length film.
