Her father Jim was an amazing support system and someone whom was very close to her. Jim Rawson shared the same enthusiasm for soccer as Anna, and both were both former Glenelg players. Anna admitted that the only motivation for playing golf when the death of her mother was to be close with her dad. But, she soon discovered that she enjoyed it. (The cute golfers certainly helped!) Anna utilized golf to cope whenever she felt particularly unhappy about her mom's death which helped improve her game and eventually allowed her passion to become a career. A dream come true! Rawson finished her education at home following her attendance at St. Martin Boarding School. Anna admits that she chose the college she chose based on ignorance and not on logic. It was warmer at Immanuel College, in Southern Australia. The college had also received acceptances from Yale and Harvard.
