Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in Decatur, Illinois. LeAnn Kymes, along with Krauss, were among the youngest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss was born in the month of July 1971. Alison is an American bluegrass singer and country musician. She began to work in the world of music at a very young age. At the age 10 she was a winner in local contests and recorded her first album. When she was 14, she dropped her first solo album, after being signed to Rounder Records. The band invited her to join the group with which she still performs Alison Krauss and Union Station as well as releasing her debut album in the group in the year 1989.
